     Sophia is a LaGrange, Ga native, and graduate of Troup High with a passion for helping others feel their best. After graduation she served 6 years in the Navy as an Avionics Technician.  Sophia later went on to pursue a career in nursing at the University of West Georgia, and has been serving as a nurse for the past 11 years in Atlanta.  

     While working as a full time nurse, she also managed to obtain her certification as a licensed Massage Therapist from the Atlanta School of Massage , with a specialization in Aromatherapy.  

As a child and family member to Mill workers, Sophia’s passion for taking care of others began to develop.  She witnessed first hand the toll that physical labor for many hours a day took on the body.  She would offer to rub her mother, and aunts feet after a long day of work to ensure that they could continue the work they were tasked with to take care of their families. 

      Her passion for natural healing continued to flourish as she saw the direct impact and improvement that her care provided.  They would also pay her for her services. We are happy that Sophia has joined the Lewminous Skincare team as our first Massage Therapist. She is just as excited to be of service to the Greater Valley community!
